제6회 아시아과학학술지편집인협의회 온라인 국제학술대회 개최 (The 6th Asian Science Editors Conference & Workshop 2020)

제6회 아시아과학학술지편집인협의회(Council of Asian Science Editors, CASE)의 국제 학술대회 및 워크숍(The 6th Asian Science Editors Conference & Workshop 2020)이 8월 21일 온라인으로 진행되었다. 올해 행사는 말레이시아에서 개최될 예정이었으나 COVID-19로 인해 온라인으로 대체하였다. CASE 회원 100명이 참석한 가운데 Ramanathan Subramaniam CASE 회장의 개회사로 행사가 시작되었고 차기 회장인 김형순 교수의 환영사가 있었다. 기조강연은 김기홍 교수(아주대)가 “Artificial intelligence in editing, writing, reviewing manuscripts”라는 주제로 발표해 주었고 김순 박사(Nature Research Korea)가 “Compliance of ‘Principles of transparency and best practice in scholarly publishing’ in academic society published journals”라는 주제로 발표해 주었다. 이어서 “Preprint server”, “Adoption of new Crossref services to society journals”, “Impact of COVID-19 pandemics to the societyjournal publishing”의 3가지 주제로 parallel session이 이어졌다. 개괄적인 정보와 발표자료는 CASE 홈페이지(https://asianeditor.org)에서 다운로드할 수 있다.
